Hurrah!  In partnership with the Chiaroscuro Reading Series, Bakka Phoenix is presenting the very first in our new quarterly workshop/lecture series, featuring renowned authors in genre fiction.

On Sunday, Sept. 30th, at 1:30 PM, international bestselling author Robert J. Sawyer will kickoff the whole series with his interactive discussion on how to develop your own high-concept approach to writing an SF novel. The discussion will take place right here at the store. This is a ticketed event, and is limited to only 25 seats.

The $50 ticket price includes a copy of Rob’s Arthur Ellis Award-nominated novel Illegal Alien, snacks and drinks at the event, and a 10%-off coupon for any other merchandise purchaseed here Bakka Phoenix the same day.  Rob will be happy to answer questions and sign autographs at the event.
