A Neighborhood Loss

After thirty-nine years, Toronto Women’s Bookstore is closing.

We don’t want to deliver an elegy, or a rant, or anything other than whatever help we can offer.  But we do want to say something, both to our community and to the city at large.  If you value the independent businesses that make your neighborhood unique, the time to  love them is now. Today. Not after they’ve closed their doors for good.

And no, that’s not a hint. Though if you wanna love us now, we’ll take it. And if you don’t… WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?
