Single’s Awareness Day is upon us, and we have some limericks for you, courtesy of our customers. This year’s winner comes from SH, who wrote:
“A Newfoundland Affair”
There once was a gal who lacked romance,
despite being born in Come-by-chance.
Because come as you are
is too easy by far,
‘specially with a fellow named Lance.
And a special second award goes to LB, who gave us:
While ideal of romance is inviting,
and the benefits, true, delighting,
I’d sever a finger
for one who would linger,
nearby, poem-reciting.
Thanks to everyone who entered. And remember: tomorrow is Half-Price Chocolate Day!
