Rachel Hartman, Live And In Person!

This Friday, March 20th, author Rachel Hartman will launch Shadow Scale, the follow-up to her first book, the spectacular Seraphina. Mere words can’t convey just how excited we are about this: I think only interpretive dance can do justice to our anticipation.

Please join us at the Merril Collection (in the Lillian H. Smith library, at 239 College) at 7pm this Friday. We’ll talk with Rachel about dragons, and music, and books, and oh, all sorts of cool stuff. The event is free, and books will be available for purchase.

PRAIRIE FIRE

Owen Thorskard, valiant at heart, hopeless at algebra, is a dragonslayer. As such, he owes the Oil Watch a period of service. But unlike most, Owen brings company along with him when it’s time for him to serve. Needless to say, things get complicated, dragonslayer style.

Please join us at the store at 3pm on Saturday February 28th for the launch of Prairie Fire, by E.K. Johnston. The author will be on hand to sign books, discuss dragons, and generally be awesome.
